New Chemistry Building

Building Description:

Completed in 2003, the New Chemistry Building, a three-story, 56,000 square foot departmental building, provides laboratory space for eight research groups in the larger wing and faculty offices, conference rooms, and computer labs in the smaller. To the east of the building, an underground nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging facility connects to the New Chemistry Building and is used for research in chemistry, biology, biophysics, and medicine.
