Mason Hall

Building Description:

This 28,000-square-foot admissions building and visitor center is named Mason Hall to honor the building's donors, Raymond A. "Chip" Mason, president and CEO of Legg Mason Inc. and chairman of Johns Hopkins University's board of trustees from 2002 to 2007, and his wife, Rand Mason. Mason Hall, which serves as the Homewood campus' front door, houses the Office of Undergraduate Admission, an alumni board room, and an area that provides visitors with information on the history of Johns Hopkins, current research being conducted at the university, and the Homewood undergraduate experience.
