Building Description:

Designed to organize and bring together cross-disciplinary research in the schools of Engineering, Arts & Sciences, and Medicine, the Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) Building, an 80,000 square foot research and learning facility, opened in the fall of 2007 and demonstrated Johns Hopkins Engineering's commitment to multidiscplinary research between engineering, medicine, and the natural sciences. Including research and facilities revolving around robotics, computational medicine, computer integrated surgery, and even language and speech processing, the Computational Science and Engineering Building truly lives up to its commitments as a base camp for cross-disciplinary research at Johns Hopkins University. Formerly designated the Computational Sciences and Engineering Building.
