Croft Hall

Building Description:

The New Engineering Building was built in 1987-88 and is attached to the back of Shaffer Hall. This building houses the administrative offices of the Whiting School of Engineering, the Office of the Dean of Engineering, and the Department of Computer Science. Additionally, the New Engineering Building has had recent renovations related to the development of a new on-campus research center dedicated to the study of the physics of cancer. In March of 2013, this building was officially named Croft Hall in recognition of a generous gift to the Whiting School of Engineering by L. Gordon Croft, '56.
